The subject of fauna and flora has always been an inspirational subject for artists with many focusing on the immediate space behind their homes, the garden.
For some the garden can be a space to control, cultivate and dominate nature for others it is an untameable oasis of calm, an escape from the modern world and a place where we can tend, nurture and immerse our senses.
